This is a very flat, fast race if you're looking for that - so it's pretty easy for a half-marathon. It's very well organized also. I've done this race a few times and really enjoyed it each time. There's a large cheering crowd through out the course and bands or DJs about each mile or so. The scenery and route is as good as you could get, considering the race starts and ends in Downtown Houston.
