This was a very well run event. On the really long hard days they created ways to make you smile or laugh - funny themes at rest stops, extra treats and always always showing their appreciation for the riders. The volunteers are called "Roadies" and I NEVER saw a crabby roady. Sleeping in "tent city" was not nearly as bad as I had anticipated and they have HOT showers at the end of the day. The ride from Santa Cruz to King City was really long and tiring - but I survived. Begin your fund raising for Aids early, this event is expensive.
