I did this race the first year it existed (2010) and it was ran superbly. Scenery is simply fantastic (except for some construction that was going on during the run). I cannot imagine a better bike course. It had a full 4 lane highway closed that also had giant shoulders so there was tons of room to move. There are HILLS on the bike course, we're talking drop to your lowest gear and grind for 3/4 of a mile.
